
Charles (Chas) Cormier is an aeronautical information consultant, nationally recognized as an expert in analyzing aerodrome potential and feasibility of instrument approaches for airports. He has personally designed or supervised the design, flight check, and maintenance of over 1500 instrument flight procedures at airports across Canada, and internationally. He is proficient in assessing the effects to air navigation of obstacles such as wind turbines or high-rise buildings. As a pilot, he held Air Transport Pilot Licenses, both airplane and helicopter, accumulating 7000+ flight hours. Mr. Cormier was elected as City Councillor in Dieppe, NB for two terms 2001-2008 and is also former Président de la Fondation des anciens de Collège Militaire Royal de Saint-Jean, and is a member of the Board of Governors of the College.
